The Frugal Hawk was lulled into complacency by the fact that no one was placing suggestions in the box. But yesterday I found something in the suggestion box, and checked my email. Here's what's up....
The content of the suggestion in the mailroom suggestion box was not directly related to cost-savings, so it isn't really appropriate for this venue. It was more of a personnel issue, and the relevant supervisor has been informed.
The email suggestion had to do with wasting plastic trash liners in our trash service. The concern related both to saving money and to the environment. The Hawk doesn't know about how those costs are figured, but I'll check it out and get back to you in a future post.
